'NCIS' Season 13 Spoilers & News: Mark Harmon's Return Still Unsure? Series Bags Most Watched Drama In The World

Fans combing the Internet for spoilers regarding Mark Harmon's return as Agent Gibbs in "NCIS" season 13 will have to wait some more.

At the end of season 12 of the procedural drama, Agent Gibbs was shot by Luke, the teenager who Gibbs welcomed to his home when both of his parents were killed by The Calling. He was already warned by Joanna against trusting Luke whom she believed was playing with him.

Showrunner Gary Glasberg was coy about dishing spoilers for Agent Gibb's return in "NCIS" season 13 during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

He mentioned Luke and Mike and even DiNozzo, but nothing on Gibbs.

He said, "We've got a lot of questions that need to be answered and then some impending danger that we need to deal with when we get back."

Glasberg also said the shooting will galvanize the rest of the team, particularly DiNozzo.

"Regardless of the outcome, any time that Gibbs or one of our family members is in danger or injured, it significantly affects everyone. We'll have to see the long-term effects and the psychological effects, but they'll undoubtedly, as they always are, be there for each other. Then we'll see where it takes [us] as we move forward to the coming episode," he added.

Mark Harmon, meanwhile, told "The Late Late Show with James Corden" that nobody is irreplaceable in the show, including his character Gibbs.

"I really believe this, but I think anybody is the show is replaceable," he said. "the truth births, characters leaving. It always has, and I think there's always been a creative footprint on the show... I think it keeps actors healthy."

"It's not my choice, number 1, but I think anybody is replaceable I believe that," he added.

Meanwhile, for the second consecutive year, "NCIS" was adjudged as the most watched drama in the world during the 55th Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

"CBS's global powerhouse series received the prestigious International Television Audience Award for a Drama TV Series for the second year in a row. NCIS is distributed worldwide in more than 200 markets by CBS Studios International," said the press release published on TV By The Numbers.

Watch out for "NCIS" season 13 spoilers which will be published when they come along.
