‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Entering Spoiler Territory For ‘Winds Of Winter’ As George R. R. Martin Still Mum On Release Date

There are two major story arcs in "Game of Thrones" season 6 that could offer major spoilers for "Winds of Winter" if George R. R. Martin won't rush its release date.

The first one is with Sansa Stark who jumped from the castle along with Reek into the snow below, although the trajectory of Theon Greyjoy was almost the same, Sansa's storyline has changed so much in "Game of Thrones" season 5 that it's not hard to assume that the "Winds of Winter" won't have any bearing on her fate in the series.

But Bustle ran an article offering several possibilities for Sansa Stark, with the "Winds of Winter" release date still in limbo.

The article claimed that Sansa Stark could not get back to where she was in "A Feast of Crows" where she's still in the Vale of Arryn, assuming the identity of Alayne Stone, the estranged daughter of Peter Baelish.

"Seeing as how Stannis' army is already defeated, and the king himself may be dead, perhaps Theon and Sansa will skip that little detour and head straight for Castle Black like Jeyne Poole does in the books," Bustle said.

"This would be a logical choice, considering Sansa believes her bastard brother to still be the 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch," it added.

The second storyline in "Game of Thrones" that could spoil the "Winds of Winter" if the release date is not announced before the series returns in April 2016.

"In the books, Melisandre, Shireen, and Selyse aren't even with Stannis. They're safely at Castle Black," the spoilers said.

"Also, Brienne and Podrick aren't anywhere near Winterfell-they're in the Riverlands. So, at the least, Stannis isn't in a position to sacrifice Shireen, and Brienne isn't in a position to kill him," the report added.

At the "Game of Thrones" season 5 finale, Brienne appeared to have killed Stannis with her sword, but there's a chance that she didn't get through with it.
