Carrie Underwood news reported that the "Something In the Water" singer is allegedly encouraging fellow country star Miranda Lambert to prioritize marriage over her music career.
According to a report from OK magazine, the Grammy winner told the "Over You" singer to take a break from work. The alleged reason behind the proposed break is for Miranda Lambert to resolve her rumored marital woes with "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton.
The rumor mill has been abuzz about the alleged marriage problems of the country music power couple, which they have denied.
"Carrie's been telling Miranda that she should put her own career on pause to keep the home fires burning," a source revealed to Star magazine.
"Miranda just rolls her eyes and smiles politely."
"Miranda knows Carrie's advice comes from a good place, but her life and marriage aren't remotely similar to Carrie's," the source explained.
Aside from her controversial advice for Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood recently made news when she shared how her latest song, "Little Toy Guns," is about unhappy homes. Win Country reported how the former "American Idol" champion hinted that she personally knows people who could relate to the song.
"I've seen it firsthand from different people in my life," the 32-year-old singer-songwriter admitted.
Carrie Underwood made news earlier this year when she gave birth to Isaiah Fisher. The baby boy is her first child with NHL Mike Fisher, who plays for the Nashville Predators.
According to a report from People, the Nashville hitmaker talked about how she is enjoying motherhood.
"I expected the worst. I've never been around babies before, to be honest, but he's so laid back!" Carrie Underwood said about her four-month-old son.
"It surprised me that it's a little easier than I thought it was going to be. I think I just expected, like, screaming, crying baby all the time, and he's just happy and smiley and gorgeous ... He's a morning baby."
