Split Not Enough? Ian Somerhalder Cuts All Ties With Nina Dobrev As 'The Vampire Diaries' Returns In October Without Actress

Ian Somerhalder has reportedly cut all ties with ex Nina Dobrev who quit "The Vampire Diaries" allegedly due to Nikki Reed.

According to Doesfollow website, Nina Dobrev still follows Ian Somerhalder on Twitter, but the gesture was not mutual as "The Vampire Diaries" actor, who got married to Nikki Reed earlier this year, already dropped her from his list of accounts followed.

Nina Dobrev has been saying that there's no bad blood between her and Ian Somehalder even after he married her best friend, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed.

She told E! News, "I've said this before, that we didn't break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn't love or friendship. I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he's great and I care about him. And that didn't change. Yes, we're professional and that's fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now."

"When I heard about the wedding, I thought it was beautiful. They look happy and I am happy and so I don't see why there should be a problem with that," Nina Dobrev said.

"But Reed recently liked a post stating that she was better for Somerhalder than Dobrev, which could have been the reason that led Somerhalder to unfollow Dobrev," said IBTimes.

That got fans thinking that Nikki Reed ordered Ian Somerhalder to cut ties with his ex-girlfriend and former "The Viampire Diaries" co-star Nina Dobrev.

One wrote on Twitter, "Nikki literally liked a Instagram post which said that she is better than nina, I wonder how ian stans will defend this."

Another tweeted, "Nikki ORDERED ian to unfollow nina . Obviously."

Meanwhile, "The Vampire Diaries" will be coming back in October, this time without Nina Dobrev.
