Tori Spelling And Kids Attend Event To Honor Candy Spelling; 'Beverly Hills 90210' Star Rebuilding Relationship With Her Mother?
Tori Spelling and her eldest kids attended an event to honor Candy Spelling, according to a report from E!Online. The former "Beverly Hills 90210" star seems to be rebuilding her relationship with her mother, whom she was estranged from after she made revelations about her painful childhood as the daughter of late Hollywood producer Aaron Spelling.
Putting their previous troubles behind them, Tori Spelling and two of her kids supported Candy Spelling at LA's Best Awards last weekend. The 69-year-old Hollywood royalty was recognized for her commitment to the charity's after school program.
The 42-year-old actress' husband, Dean McDermott, accompanied Tori Spelling and their kids. Candy Spelling was all smiles on the red carpet with the once-troubled couple and her grandchildren, namely eight-year-old Liam, seven-year-old Stella.
Tori Spelling's two younger kids - three-year-old Hattie and two-year-old Finn - stayed home for the formal event.
Candy Spelling wore an elegant orange dress with beaded floral details and bell sleeves. As for Tori Spelling, the former teen star had on a black and gold blouse and black high-waist trousers.
"One of my fave looks ever! Last nite: @lasbestafterschool event honoring my mom @candyspelling," Tori Spelling wrote alongside her Instagram image from the event.
Aside from rebuilding her relationship with her mother, Tori Spelling and her kids seem to be happier with Dean McDermott. The celebrity couple went through a rough patch in their marriage last year, with their family issues being documented on their reality show "True Tori."
According to a report from Life and Style, the two are even considering to renew their wedding vows.
"I would love to renew our vows. When the time is right, we'll do it," Dean McDermott said.
The actor pointed out that he wants a private event if he and Tori Spelling eventually renew their marriage vows.
"We won't do it on TV! It'll just be us and family," Dean McDermott said.
