YG Entertainment New Girl Group Debut to be Postponed to Later this Year

YG Entertainment has revealed that the debut of their new group will have to be postponed to after the summer.

So far, two of the members for the group have been revealed, Kim Ji Soo and Jennie Kim. This group was originally supposed to debut at the beginning of this year.

YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk revealed the reason for their postponement.

Yang Hyun Suk commented, "It is true that we were going to debut the group this past January. However, due to the already confirmed comeback dates for Kang Seung Yoon, Lee Hi, G-Dragon, Taeyang and 2NE1, it was hard for us to prepare for their debut."

He continued, "We felt that it was right to release the long time YG artists songs first for all the fans that had been waiting for them."

That is the reason as to why the new girl group has been pushed back for now.

On the other hand, the recruitment for the remaining members and the team name is still being kept a secret.
