Tom Cruise Far From Over Ex Katie Holmes? 'Mission Impossible' Star Hires Actress' Doppelganger As Assistant

Tom Cruise's assistant, Emily, looks like his ex-wife Katie Holmes which prompted the tabloids into speculating that the "Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation" star is still not over his ex wife.

"Tom Cruise has been filming 'Mena' in Madison, Georiga this month, and we recently got a hold of this picture that shows Tom Cruise with his new assistant," Celebrity Dirty Laundry noted. "The photo was taken on June 29, 2015, and the resemblance between Cruise's new assistant and his ex-wife Katie Holmes is uncanny."

"We aren't quite sure why Tom Cruise would want to work with someone who looks identical to Katie Holmes, but maybe Cruise is trying to recreate an image of his ex-wife Katie Holmes to fill some sort of void that he is feeling," the article said.

CDL is not the only website that took note of Tom Cruise's assistant being the doppelganger of the "Mission Impossible: Rouge Nation" actor's ex wife, Katie Holmes.

Tom Cruise, who turns 53 on July 3, was snapped chatting with his assistant, Emily, during the set of "Mena" and she looks exactly like Katie Holmes, Entertainment Tonight noted.

"Holmes told People last year that she doesn't want her marriage to Cruise to define her, saying 'I don't want that to be what I'm known as,'" ET said. "However, if rumors of a flirtation between the action star and his assistant are to be believed, it seems he might not be as over the relationship as his ex-wife."

"Mena" is a story about Barry Seal, a pilot in the 1980s who was became a gun runner and drug trafficker for the CIA and the Medellin cartel, said Deadline.

"He was eventually shot to death by the latter in Baton Rouge. The title refers to Mena, Arkansas, where a lot of the illegal activity took place, under the noses of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton," the article said.
