Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Shuns Divorce Rumors As They Fight To Remain Healthy; ‘Hello Kitty’ Hitmaker Details Her Battle Against Lyme Disease!

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger continues to shrug off the divorce rumors that have been hounding their marriage as they deal with their respective illnesses. The "Hello Kitty" hitmaker, meanwhile, detailed how she battled with Lyme disease.

The 30-year-old Canadian pop rock princess broke down in her last interview with Good Morning America's Jesse Palmer as she told her struggles in the past months.

"I was in Los Angeles, literally, like the worst time in my life and I was seeing, like, every specialist and literally, the top doctors, and they were so stupid, and they would pull up their computer and be like, 'chronic fatigue syndrome,' or 'Why don't you try to get out of bed Avril, and just play the piano? Are you depressed?'" the singer explained.

Avril Lavigne related that she waited for eight months to get the right health professional to diagnose her with Lyme disease and she is now on recovery stage.

"This is my second shot at life," the "Happy Ending" singer said while insisting that she really wanted to pursue what she loves.

The "Complicated" hit maker also thanked her fans who gave her support when she was dealing with her disease.

Avril Lavigne is now back in the music industry as she is set to have her first live appearance after several months in solitary. Chad Kroeger's wife will perform her latest single, "Fly," at the opening ceremony of Special Olympics World Games on July 25 in LA. 

Meanwhile, the singer's husband, Nickelback's front man Chad Kroeger, also underwent a major surgery on his throat after discovering an operable cyst.

His medical condition led to the cancellation of the second leg of their 2015 No Fixed Address North American tour last week.

The two recently shunned divorce rumors after Avril Lavinge posted an Instagram snap shot of her while giving her rockstar husband a smooch.
