FKA Twigs Gets Busy With Gigs As Fiance Robert Pattinson's Career Suffers? Singer's Performance Gets Mixed Reviews

FKA Twigs' career seemed to have soared after hooking up with fiance Robert Pattinson whose own career seemed to have spiraled downward. Meanwhile, the singer's performance at Glastonbury received mixed reviews from critics.

For example, at the Old Granada Studios in Machester from July 9-15, FKA Twigs will be performancing a piece dubbed Soundtrack 7 along with some collaborators "in which she'll explore seven narratives from her own life," said Dummy Mag.

"Following this, FKA twigs will premiere the work made during the residency at four special live performances at the Old Granada Studios, taking place on Friday July 16th and Saturday July 17th at 5.30pm and 9.30pm," it said.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed that Robert Pattinson's career seemingly died when he hooked up with FKA Twigs, whose own career seemed to have thrived.

"The Twilight hunk is obviously smitten with the British singer, but her motives have always been questionable. Since they began dating FKA Twigs' career has been taking off, but their relationship seems to have the opposite effect on Robert Pattinson's," it said.

The article also claimed that the reason for Robert Pattinson's exit from "Brimstone," where he's replaced by "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington, was because "his needy fiancé Twigs was making it too difficult for him to devote himself to the film entirely."

Meanwhile, the performance of Robert Pattinson's fiancee FKA Twigs at Glastonbury earned mixed reviews from critics.

The Guardian described FKA Twigs as "the most adventurous pop star working today."

"Over the subsequent set, twigs showed off psychosexual theatre, futurist love song and elemental dance that can be counted with the greatest art being made on the planet today," the review said.

The Telegraph, on the other hand, slammed the performance by Robert Pattinson's fiancee.

"This was a disappointingly chilly, self-indulgent set from FKA twigs on the West Holts stage," it said.

"The 27-year-old, who was nominated for the Mercury Prize last year, certainly has a haunting voice but her pretentious performance art choreography and incoherent flow drove a wedge between her and the audience."
