Kate Gosselin Celebrate Kids’ Birthday; ‘Kate Plus Eight’ Star Calmer, Snubs Child Neglect Allegations
Kate Gosselin celebrated her kids' birthday recently, said a feature from In Touch. According to the report, the "Kate Plus Eight" star seems calmer and continues to snub child neglect allegations that have been thrown her way.
A recent episode of the reality series "Kate Plus Eight" showed Kate Gosselin at her sextuplet kids' 11th birthday celebration.
The 40-year-old TV personality bought her children - namely 14-year-old twins Cara and Mady and 11-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Leah, Hannah, Collin, Joel and Aaden - and their close friends to a slumber party at a hotel.
The single mom was busy throughout the event and at one point even had to deal with her preteen daughters' meltdown in front of their guests.
However, many noticed how Kate Gosselin was still able to keep her cool.
"I just can't be spending my energy on [the] meltdown of the century every time something little happens," she said.
The hotel slumber party episode of "Kate Plus Eight" followed recent allegations that Kate Gosselin neglects her kids.
According to a report from The Hollywood Gossip, her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, is determined to fight for their children.
"He will fight for the kids in court. His only priority is what is best for the children," a source said.
Radar Online previously reported how Kate Gosselin scoffed at haters who have been critical of her parenting.
"To a degree, I try not to let it get to me because I'm busy," she said.
"To this handful of people who decided to devote their lives to hating me: I feel bad for them. I mean, what a sorry, sad life to try to take down another individual - like, do you really think you have an effect on my life? You don't."
"You've never met me. You've seen me on TV but you don't see the whole thing [so] you don't know the whole thing," Kate Gosselin added.
