Amanda Peterson Death Confirmed; 'Can't Buy Me Love' Star's Cause Of Death Still Undetermined

Amanda Peterson, star of the hit 80's film, "Can't Buy Me Love," has been confirmed to have died last July 5.

According to The Daily Mail, the star was 43 years of age when she passed away, an age that is considered by the public to be very young for someone to die.

The report includes details involving her death, including the place where her body was found. According to the reports, she was discovered dead at her house in Greeley, Colorado. Her father, James, has confirmed the news personally to entertainment news site, TMZ. Accordding to him, his and his family's concern for the former actress grew after not hearing from her for two days.

Moreso, James divulged information that the cause of Amanda Peterson's death still has not been determined. However, he said that his daughter has been experiencing numerous health issues for the past couple of years. These issues include sleep apnea, pneumonia and sinusitis.

"She had some illness and a sleep apnea problem that may have contributed," James said, according to the site cited above.

While the cause of death is yet to be determined, fans are saying that the medical conditions stated by her father may have indeed contrinuted to the deterioration of her health, but probably not entirely. They say that the stated conditions don't really cause for extreme alarm let alone the death of a person unless it is associated with something else, such as a complication that can ultimately worsen the person's health by tenfolds.

Amanda Peterson's death has since been mourned by her family and by former colleagues in the industry, including Patrick Dempsey, also known as "McDreamy" in TV series, "Grey's Anatomy." Dempsey starred alongside Peterson on the movie "Can't Buy Me Love."
