Chris Brown Fighting For Daughter Royalty, Officially Files Paternity Case Versus Nia Guzman

Chris Brown is fighting for his daughter, Royalty. According to a report from TMZ, the "Loyal" singer officially filed a paternity case versus Nia Guzman, the mother of his one-year-old child.

The former music video model has allegedly been demanding $15,000 a month in child support for Chris Brown's daughter. The amount was slammed by the R&B star, who believes his current contribution of $2,500 a month is enough.

Nia Guzman has also allegedly been denying Chris Brown the right to see his daughter.

The Texas native's child support and custody demands have reportedly forced Chris Brown to fight for his daughter in a paternity case. The case filed in Houston earlier this week will establish clear guidelines regarding monetary support and custody arrangements.

As Chris Brown establishes his paternity rights for Royalty, a report from Hollywood Life said that he has been mindful about Nia Guzman getting too close to his world. The once troubled singer allegedly believes Royalty's mother is looking for fame, just like his last girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

"Nia's becoming a headache, and if she moved [to Los Angeles] permanently, he fears that she'd be just like Karrueche," an insider said.

"She'd be going to all the clubs he goes to. She'd be out in the streets running her mouth to the paparazzi bashing him."

"She'd think she's a star just because she's his baby's mother. No thank you," the insider added.

An aspiring model and host, Karrueche Tran dated Chris Brown until reports about his daughter with Nia Guzman came out. She then allegedly dumped the Grammy winner for getting another woman pregnant during their five-year relationship.

However, an insider explained that it was Chris Brown who felt used after his relationship with Karrueche Tran ended.

"Karrueche already did a number on him," the insider said. "He's not interested in playing a captain and saving another woman."

His failed relationship with Karrueche Tran has reportedly made Chris Brown more cautious about how Nia Guzman can also just use him for fame and money.

"He understands now that Nia is all about draining his bank accounts and before he lets that happen, he wants a judge to weigh in and put some structure in place," an insider explained about Chris Brown's paternity case.
