Blake Lively’s Instagram Shot Starts New Hair Color Trend? ‘Gossip Girl’ Star Goes ‘Bronde’

Blake Lively's recent Instagram shot seems to have started a new hair color trend. According to a report from Hello magazine, the "Gossip Girl" star debuted her "bronde" hair color in her social media site.

"Brondes have more fun," Blake Lively captioned an Instagram photo of her travelling with the World Wildlife Fund. "NoTypos - IKnowIThinkItsCrazyToo."

Bronde is said to be today's hottest hair color as it mixes brown and blonde hair. The style debuted by Blake Lively on her Instagram shot is reportedly in line with the "Go Bronde" campaign of L'Oreal Paris, which she endorses.

Hair colorist Christophe Robin explained how Blake Lively's fans can copy the actress' bronde hair color.

"Those wanting to go bronde [without tipping over the edge into full-on blonde], should take the time to find the right tone," the hairstylist said. "The correct one should be two or, at most, three shades above your natural colour."

Prior to Blake Lively starting the bronde hair color trend via her Instagram post, the wife of Ryan Reynolds admitted that she wants to take on the world of fashion by designing clothes.

"To be honest, I could really see myself opening a clothing label and might even do it one day," the 27-year-old actress told Jolie magazine.

"But right now there is just no time for it. I really couldn't take any more sleep deprivation!"

Blake Lively's love for fashion is evident in her lifestyle website, "Preserve." She explained how the support of her family enabled her to pursue her dream of putting up a lifestyle brand amid her showbiz schedule and being a new mom to her daughter, James Reynolds.

"I was lucky to grow up in a family that's obsessed with fashion but also very down to earth," she said.

"My parents were very keen for us kids to have a healthy sense of self-worth and to feel comfortable in our own skin. My mother also taught me that extremes are rarely good, for example in terms of figure or striving for perfection."

"It sounds like a cliché, but true beauty comes from within," Blake Lively said.
