Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman Costume Represents Today's Women? New Trailer For 'Batman V Superman' To Finally Quiet Actress' Doubters?

The new "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer featuring Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman might silence her critics once and for all as the Amazon princess looks badass.

The clip shows Gal GAdot in the familiar red, blue and gold armor that has been teased online the past several weeks. She was also wielding a sword and shield, which some people may not be familiar with.

Scott Mendelson of Forbes magazine was notably impressed by the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer.

"Say what you will about taking from Frank Miller or shaping a Man of Steel sequel into a Batman movie and backdoor Justice League pilot, but this looks truly impressive from a sheer 'see this on the biggest IMAX screen possible; kind of way," he wrote.

Although he noted the lack of screen time for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer, he conceded, "This is a pretty Batman-centric trailer, but he was the biggest unknown going into the panel on Saturday. We can wait for Wonder Woman the next time out, perhaps with a Gal Gadot-centric trailer in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakened."

Meanwhile, Gal Gadot talked about being cast as Wonder Woman in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

She said, "It was like an out of body experience because there was this little girl from Israel becoming Wonder Woman. I love the way they made the costume look, and I think it really represents the Wonder Woman of today. I'm very, very grateful to be the one to bring her to life."

Gal Gadot recounted that two years ago, she auditioned for a secret role.

"I got back to Israel and everything was great, and then Zack Snyder called and said 'We're going to need you for a camera test.' He asked, 'Do you know what you're testing for? Do you have Wonder Woman in Israel?' My jaw dropped. And then I tried to play it cool and say, 'Yeah, of course!'" she said.
