'New Girl' Star Zooey Deschanel Is All Bloom As Pregnant Actress And Fiance David Pechenik Head To Birthing Class

"New Girl" star Zooey Deschanel is full-blown pregnant as she visited a birthing class with fiancé David Pechenik in Austin, Texas on Saturday before heading out to the farmers market to shop for antiques.

"Zooey was the picture of domestic bliss, wearing a blue and pink-flowered frock with empire waistline, below which her protruding tummy took center stage," Daily Mail said.

"A light grey cardigan and silver ballet flats made up the rest of Zooey's comfortable attire," it added.

The "New Girl" star is clearly watching her weight as she was snacking on fruit. Zooey's sister Emily Deschanel of "Bones," is also pregnant so it's clearly a good time for the family.

In a previous interview with E! News, the pregnant Zooey Deschanel said that she couldn't wait for the delivery so she could meet her baby, who will be due in summer.

"I'm really excited. I'm so excited. I'm just so excited to meet my baby! We're very excited," she said.

The only thing about being pregnant that Zooey Deschanel doesn't like is the diet.

"You can't eat so many things when you're pregnant!" she said when she guested on the Jimmy Kimmel show last March.

"You can't have sushi. You can't have cheese that tastes good," she continued "You can have a little bit [of coffee], but I would have, like, four cups a day. And now I can have a half cup, which is a joke! It's a total joke! You can't have alcohol. I miss that, I like wine."

However, the "New Girl" star said that she's going to allow her body to naturally lose the weight gain from being pregnant rather than force her diet to gain an ideal post-baby weight. Zooey Deschanel said that she's not at all pressured from Hollywood's idea of how quick a celebrity should lose the pregnancy weight.
