Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Debunk Divorce Rumors As They Purchase New Mansion In LA!

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger debunked rumors that they are heading for divorce as they recently purchased a mansion in Los Angeles reportedly worth $5.4 million.

The 30-year-old pop rock star and the Nickelback frontman's new 7,888-square-foot property boasts a classic French style architecture that features vaulted ceilings, four Juliet balconies, a dramatic double stair case and an ivy-covered terrace outdoors, Refinery29 said.

Their new mansion also has six bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, hand-carved fireplaces and crown molding.

The Canadian couple's mansion even houses a theater room, home gym, basketball court and an outdoor kitchen, E! Online said in a report.

The singers' latest purchase reportedly proves that their relationship is here to last and that the divorce rumors are out of the picture.

Last year, rumors circulated that Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger were set to divorce after many observed that they stopped going on outings together.

They were also spotted separately without their wedding rings, hinting that Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger might be eyeing a divorce.

Amid the rumors, Avril Lavigne was battling Lyme disease for the past several months and she revealed in an interview that her husband has always been supportive of her. She also said that Chad Kroeger even called off some of his gigs just to take care of her while she was bed ridden.

In her recent interview, Avril Lavigne was not able to contain her emotions as she related how her doctors treated her like crazy because they were not able to diagnose her illness. Reportedly, it was only when the "Happy Ending" singer met top doctors that she found out that she has Lyme disease.

The Canadian singer is now on her way to recovery and is currently working on her new album that is set to be released later this year.

Avril Lavigne has also just recently released her new song "Fly," which is the theme song for the Special Olympics this month.
