Prince William And Kate Middleton Being Criticized By Queen Elizabeth, Thinks Duchess Of Cambridge Is Not Fulfilling Her Duties?

Even if Prince William and Kate Middleton recently made headlines for their "picture perfect" family during Princess Charlotte's christening, reports have surfaced that Queen Elizabeth is not please with how the Duchess of Cambridge is handling royal affairs.

According to Life & Style, the brunette beauty is making a negative impact on Queen Elizabeth because she fails to attend some of her royal duties. The Queen allegedly thought it's wrong for the Duchess to miss a meet-and-greet luncheon with the country's valued veterans last July 10.

What reportedly made the tension worse is that two weeks after such event, Kate Middleton had time to entertain Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's clan at Kensington Palace.

No reason was given why Kate Middleton did not attend the luncheon honoring the country's World War II pilots. Prince William, on the other hand, was in attendance. The luncheon took place just two days after the royal couple attended Wimbledon.

The magazine's insider said that Queen Elizabeth already has nicknames for the brunette beauty.

"Kate is getting a bit of a reputation for ducking out of royal duties. That's where her nicknames 'Duchess of Do-Little' and 'Lazy Katie' come from. If you can't find time to pay tribute to some old men who saved your country, what message does that convey?"

While it isn't unknown if the Queen actually coined the nicknames, she was allegedly heard using them. The same insider explained that the Queen is strict because her generation is different and that she values her duty above herself.

Some supporters think that Prince William and Kate Middleton's growing family might be the reason why the latter is currently unable to fulfill her duties. The two welcomed their second child just last May which might make it difficult for the Duchess of Cambridge to attend a multitude of events.

Paul Burrell, former butler of the late Princess Diana, said that nothing's surprising about the tension between Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth.

"Relations between royals and nonroyals have always been awkward and tense. Marrying into the family firm is not easy."
