Demi Lovato And Wilmer Valderrama Engaged? Singer Releases Statement!

News about Demi Lovato and long-time boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama being engaged has been making the rounds on the internet.

This is after the "Heart Attack" singer went on an interview with a local Australian radio station and revealed that she is ready to get married with Valderrama, should he ask her asap. The interview was published by numerous entertainment sites sine then, one of them including MTV UK.

Upon being asked whether she needed to defend their relationship because of their 12-year age gap, Demi answered with a yes.

"I used to, definitely, whenever we were first starting to date about like five years ago, because I was 18 and he was 30, so people were definitely judgmental," she said.

"Even like my parents were kind of like, 'I don't know why someone his age is wanting to date someone so young,'" she added. "After a while, everyone started to see that what we have is real and incredible and very special and we have been together ever since."

When Demi Lovato was asked whether a wedding is in place for her and Wilmer Valderrama, she answered clearly.

"I am very, very in love with him," she said. "I think-we'll probably wait a little bit longer, but-if he asked tomorrow I would say yes."

Since then, fans have been specualting whether or not her answer was a nod to the public that they might actually be engaged already and might have only been keeping it a secret.

As to news about her bestfriend Iggy Azalea's upcoming wedding with her boyfriend, Demi was asked about how Iggy might be during her wedding.

"She's pretty chill, so I can't imagine that she'll be one of those brides that'll be super particular," she answered.
