Bobby Flay Settles Divorce With Stephanie March To Protect Career? Celebrity Chef Scared Of Wife's Proof He's Cheating?

Bobby Flay and Stephanie March have agreed on an amicable settlement in connection with their divorce. And it was said that the Food Network star was forced to accede to the "Law and Order: SVU" actress' demands in order to protect his career.

The former couple released a short statement regarding their divorce settlement. It read, "We have come to an amicable divorce settlement. We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward."

According to Page Six, the celebrity chef has hooked with Elyse Tirrell described as a 28-year-old "singer/actress who worked as a hostess at the chef's Bar Americain in 2008 and became his assistant."

Bobby Flay's rep released a statement that belied the claims he cheated on Stephanie March prior to their divorce, "We will continue to refrain from responding to the continued efforts by certain parties to spread rumors and innuendo. This specific allegation was in a letter sent from one attorney in this case to the other."

The statement continued, "It was written and then leaked specifically to try to insert this story into the press, and that's unfortunate. Even more unfortunate is that all of this is being done in order to renegotiate a prenuptial agreement that was agreed to over a decade ago and never amended during the marriage."

While the divorce settlement wasn't revealed, TMZ pointed out that Stephanie March would have gotten much of what she wanted out of Bobby Flay.

"Sources familiar with the situation tell us, the negotiations between the 2 were tough, but ultimately Stephanie held the cards because Bobby did not want a trial, especially since she alleged cheating in her divorce docs."

"He didn't want a plane flying over the courthouse," the insider said, referencing to a time when a plane flew overhead carrying a huge banner that says "cheater" while Bobby Flay was being inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
