Justin Timberlake Spends Time Away From Jessica Biel And Baby Silas As 'Sexy Back' Singer Takes Love For Golf To Another Level

Justin Timberlake has left Jessica Biel and baby Silas for the time being so he could participate in the celebrity golf charity tournament.

The "Sexy Back" singer participated in the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament along with the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Charles Barkley, "Duck Dynasty's" Willie Robertson, and Alfonso Ribeiro, all vying to get the $125,000 prize which will go to the charity of their choice.

Jon Miller, president of programming for NBC Sports, said, "We've been talking to Justin Timberlake for years about joining the American Century Championship field and his schedule coincides with our tournament dates this year."

"He will be a dynamic attraction for the galleries and a perfect fit with the celebrities who come to Lake Tahoe every July," Miller said.

Justin Timberlake made good use of his time away from Jessica Biel and baby Silas as he was reportedly having a blast at the tournament, said E! News.

An eyewitness told the site, "He's having a blast! Having so much fun! You can tell what a great time he's having. He's doing pretty well in the tournament."

Before baby Silas, and even before falling in love with wife Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake's first love has been golf. The "Sexy Back" singer actually has a 6-handicap, which is about the same average for professional golfers at the PGA Tour.

In an inteview with Golf.com, he said, "There aren't many places I can go where I don't feel like I'm being watched. But the golf course is one of them. It's my refuge. It's where I get a chance to be alone in the world."

"When I think of golf, my first thoughts always go back to my stepdad. He was the one who introduced me to the game," Jessica Biel's husband recounted. "We still play together a lot today, and we usually end up riding in the same cart and challenging the other cart to a match. But if I'm playing against him, it's no holds barred."

"There's no let up. We're both grown men. I can accept losing and I know that he can take an ass-whupping. He takes enough of them from my mother at home."
