Rihanna And Lewis Hamilton Flirting For Years Now? Singer and Racer Enjoy Weekend Together?

Rihanna has moved on to another athlete. The "FourFiveSeconds" singer was reportedly secretly dating British Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton. Reports even said they spent the weekend together.

In a report on The Sun, it was mentioned that the rumored couple have been into each other for quite a long time now and recently acquainted on a different level now that they are both single.

"They've had a flirtation for years and have always fancied each other, but since May this year they've been talking a lot," someone reportedly close to Rihanna told the source cited above. "Finally their schedules allowed them to spend a weekend in the same part of the world and they made the most of it."

The R&B singer has even invited the racer to one of her shows so they could hang out again after they reportedly spent the weekend together in New York.

"They are both really busy but Rihanna has asked him to come to Rock in Rio in September so he can see her perform and spend time together," the source said.

The two were even reported to have shared the same table during the Met Gala back in May. A friend of Hamilton even claimed that the race was quite smitten with the singer.

"He is a bit infatuated with her and thinks she is not only sexy but incredibly funny, although he knows she has a reputation as a heartbreaker," the source revealed.

Rihanna last dated soccer star Karim Benzema. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, was last reported to be dating Kendall Jenner, according to the Mirror, after he split with longtime love, Nicole Scherzinger.

Amid reports that Hamilton was dating another singer, Scherzinger did not seem affected by the news. Over the weekend, the singer was busy performing for the Special Olympics World Games as reported by The Express. The former couple seemed to have ended their relationship as friends. Just three weeks ago, Hamilton even gave a shout out to Scherzinger for her birthday.

"Dear friend, through the years we shared a lot, I wouldn't have changed a thing," Hamilton wrote. "All the experiences made me the man I'm proud to be right now. The Memories together will never be taken away no matter how old we get and I'm thankful for the time we had."
