Longest Female Legs In The World Belong To George Mason High School's New Basketball Coach Svetlana Pankratova [VIDEO]

The longest female legs in the world are those of George Mason High School's new assistant basketball coach Svetlana Pankratova, according to NESN.

Pankratova, who is 41 years old, spent six years pursuing the record of the word's longest legs, but with four feet and four inches of leg on her 6-foot-5 frame, the Guinness record keepers couldn't deny her the title.

A former Russian basketball star (a natural career choice for the person with the longest female legs) Pankratova is now an assistant coach at George Mason High School in Falls Church, Va.

Her husband Jack Gosnell is from the same Virginia town.

The Washington Post reports Pankratova was a bit of a basketball legend in her college days at Virginia Commonwealth University.

The woman with the longest female legs also broke the women's records for blocked shots in a season and in a career, records she still holds.

"It's great for me to realize I'm queen of the longest legs, the longest on the planet," Pankratova told the Associated Press at a press conference following the coach's official entrance into the Guinness Book of World Records back in 2009. "It just feels good. Actually, I am proud of it."

The press release for Pankratova's official recognition from Guinness that she has the world's longest female legs, also featured a photo opportunity featuring the world's smallest man.
