22 year old Misty VanHorn was taken into custody Wednesday for attempting to sell her children using the social networking site Facebook to bail boyfriend out of jail, Oakland state police confirmed.

According to the Oaklahoman, VanHorn was trafficking her children with an acquaintance in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

"Just come to Sallisaw, it's only 30 minutes away and I'll give you all of her stuff and let y'all have her forever for $1,000,"  Misty wrote.

Van Horn reportedly asked for $1,000 for the two-year-old or $4,000 for both the two and ten year old.

Huffington Post claims VanHorn was taken into custody Wednesday after the Arkansas woman, who VanHorn made the offer to, contacted the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

Authorities say she was trying to raise money to bail her boyfriend out of jail.

One of VanHorn's neighbors, Tony Mosby, recalls seeing the young woman going door to door to raise bail money.

"She was going door to door, here to all the way across town asking everybody for money to get him out," Mosby told local station KFSM.

VanHorn is being held at Sequoyah County jail on $40,000 bond. Her children were taken into state custody.
