Justin Bieber's Mom To Be The Next 'Bachelorette'? Not Likely: 'It Was Just A Joke!' Says Mama Biebs Pattie Mallette [PHOTOS]

Justin Bieber's mom Pattie Mallette created a stir on Monday night while live tweeting during the ABC show "The Bachelor."

"Who will be the next Bachelorette?" Bieber's mom asked in a tweet during the show. "Me perhaps?? Hmmmmm..."

However, Mallette put an end to any rumors she was vying for a spot on the reality show on Tuesday.

"Ok, It was a joke everyone," Bieber's mom tweeted. "As much as I love watching "The Bachelor" I wouldn't become the next "Bachelorette!"

Twitter user Penny Maxwell thinks Mallette should be "The Bachelorette" for religious reasons.

"Hey now, we need some Christians reppin'!" Maxwell tweeted  Tuesday after Bieber's mom said she wasn't trying to be the next "Bachelorette." "Might be good for America & you! I'll watch!"

Mallette showed her "Bachelorette super fandom in her tweets during Monday's season finale.

"This is definitely, by far...the Most Dramatic Season Finale EVER!" Bieber's mom tweeted.

"Ok that proposal was really amazing," She won me over in the end. And they ride off on an elephant together!? I'm happy 4 U."

Perhaps Bieber's mom needed some time to unwind after a week where her son collapsed backstage and disappointed fans with tardiness during his UK tour, only to lash out at the press about it on Twitter.

Despite his recent troubles, One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson stuck up for Justin Bieber on Friday.

"I do wish the press would take it easy on Justin Bieber." Tomlinson tweeted. "I really do empathize with him, I don't see anything out of character in comparison to any other teenagers I know."
