Caitlyn Jenner's Friends In Reality Show Fake? Actresses Paid To Play Reality Star's Clique?

Caitlyn Jenner's friends in her solo reality show are allegedly fake. According to a report from Radar Online, actresses were supposedly paid to be the reality star's clique in the controversial docuseries "I Am Cait."

"[Caitlyn Jenner] actually held auditions for the role of her transgender BFFs for the television show!" a source claimed.

"Caitlyn didn't just meet all of these already famous transgender people by accident - of course they were cast and, yes, they are getting paid."

"When you are appearing on a major network show on several episodes you do not do that for free. There are auditions and a selection process," adds the insider.

Even Candis Cayne, who is shown in Caitlyn Jenner's reality show as her closest friend, was also reportedly just casted to be her BFF.

"It's great chance that Caitlyn and Candice really have hit it off and are actually BFFs now," the source said. "That sure helps."

Ratings reports also revealed that Caitlyn Jenner's solo reality show got mediocre viewership when it premiered last month. According to data shared to Reuters, the former Olympian's docuseries debuted with 2.7 million viewers.

The said ratings was far from the 17 million people who tuned in to her tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer, where Caitlyn Jenner finally came out about being a transgender woman.

Caitlyn Jenner's reality show follows the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" patriarch's transition from Bruce Jenner into a woman named Caitlyn. "I Am Cait" also featured the reactions of her family and close friends throughout her journey.

The reality star has also been busy with speaking opportunities to help other members of the transgender community.

However, the strong material featured in Caitlyn Jenner's reality show has reportedly not been enough to generate high ratings for the docuseries. Ratings data even showed how ABC's "Celebrity Family Feud," which aired on the same time slot as "I Am Cait," attracted three times more viewers than the controversial E! series.
