Miranda Kerr Car Crash: Sustains Neck Injury After Drunk Driver Rear-Ends Her in Los Angeles [VIDEO]

Supermodel Miranda Kerr was seen in a new accessory, neck brace, after a serious car accident Monday.

The 29-year-old Victoria Secret beauty rep confirmed she was a passenger alongside her assistant was hit by an alleged drunk driver in Los Angeles.

"Miranda was rear-ended but is totally fine," her spokeswoman told the Daily News.

A source confirmed the mother-of-one was taken to hospital for MRI scan after the crash.

Neither Kerr's British actor husband Orlando Bloom and two-year-old son Flynn were in the car at the time of the accident.

Miranda's mother Therese Kerr wrote on her Instagram, "I've had lots of people on social media asking if Miranda is ok. Thank you all for your beautiful thoughts, prayers and well wishes, it means so much to us. Please know that Miranda is fine."

She added, "She was involved in a car accident and is currently having to wear a neck brace, but thankfully she is ok and Flynn wasn't in the car with her. Everyone is fine so please don't worry. Sending you all much love and gratitude xxx Therese (Miranda's mum) #mirandakerr."

"She is in a lot of pain but really, we are just glad that it was not more serious," her representative said.

Kerr is said to be recovering at home and being looked after by Bloom.

"[Orlando is] taking very good care of her. He's an amazing husband. Luckily, Flynn wasn't in the car," the rep added.

The allegedly drunken driver of the other vehicle has reportedly been arrested and may be facing charges for reckless driving.
