Katy Perry Trying To Sell $7 Million Los Angeles House She Shared With Ex-Hubby Russell Brand

Katy Perry is trying to rid herself of everything Russell Brand, including their $7 million house.

The 'Part of Me' singer is having a hard time selling the house and has reportedly lowered the price. Katy Perry is also going to list the Los Angeles home on the multiple list service in order to get people interested in the house.

The housing market may be making a comeback but it is doubtful that there are many regular people (meaning those who are not celebrities) out there who can afford a house like the one Katy Perry is trying to sell.

But the house Katy Perry once occupied isn't the only thing she is trying to sell. The singer is working on a book deal and her first autobiography, titled "Part Of Me." Perry also has a song and a documentary out by the same name.

The book will cover her childhood, career and relationships with ex-husband Russell Brand and current beau John Mayer.

Perry and Brand split in 2011 after 14-months of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause.
