Emma Watson To Star In ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’? ‘Anonymous’ Hackers Found Docs Linking Watson To Anastasia Steele Role

Emma Watson may play Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Last summer, Emma Watson had to quell rumors of her starring in Focus Features' adaptation of the E.L. James erotica novel Fifty Shades Of Grey, but it seems that Watson can't escape the popular novel.

Hacking group 'Anonymous' claims to have found documents that state Harry Potter star Emma Watson has signed on to play the Fifty Shades Of Grey role.

The documents linking Emma Watson to the movie were reportedly found in the database of a German production company and revealed the details of yet-to-be-produced film projects.

Hacker team 'M3du5a' stole and published the documents from Constantin Film's internal server.

Consantin Films is part of an umbrella group with Summit Entertainment, which distributes through Dreamworks.

When contacted, Focus Features told Entertainment Weekly that casting hasn't yet begun for the film adaptation of Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The Focus representative also stated that Constantin Films isn't involved in the making of the movie.

It also remains unknown how old the stolen document is.

Playing a college student that gets seduced by a billionaire that lives an 'alternative' lifestyle would be quite a departure for Emma Watson.

It would also be an interesting choice for Watson, who is usually discriminating in the roles she chooses to take on. Earlier this week, she turned down the chance to play Cinderella.

Emma Watson's representative refused to comment.

Emma Watson will be starring as the leader of a fame-obsessed group of celebrity larcenists in Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring, scheduled to be released on June 14, 2013.

She will also star as the lead in Guillermo del Toro's Beauty and the Beast live-action remake.
