Wales Retains Rugby's Six Nations Title By Defeating England At Millennium Stadium

For the first time since 1979, Wales retained the Six Nations Title by defeating England 30-3 in a rugby match at Millennium Stadium.

This is the second victory over England in a row for Wales. Wales Flanker Justin Tipuric was named 'man of the match.' He told MSN news, "It's unreal, it's what dreams are all about."

"We were outstanding, we all worked so hard, it's brilliant. We knew what we could do, we talked about it all week and we were ready to play since Monday," he added.

Wales gained a 12-3 lead early in the second half, but didn't stop there. Welshmen Cuthbert handed off English wingman Mike Brown, completing a 40-metre move giving Wales a 17-3 lead.

It was obvious after that the English were not going to be able to get back in the game. Stuart Lancaster is the coach for the English team and admitted to MSN news that Wales was the better team.

"We are gutted. We didn't get the execution right and didn't turn up, we just weren't good enough. We have no complaints, we couldn't match their physicality."

The victory over the English broke a Millennium Stadium five game losing streak for Wales.

Iafrica.com says, "There were heroes across the spread for Wales. Reliable Leigh Halfpenny, who kept the scoreboard ticking over, two-try speedster Alex Cuthbert and Dan Biggar at flyhalf, who arguably enjoyed his most accomplished Test showing."
