Pregnant Coach From Seton Hill Killed In Bus Crash

Kristina Quigley the head coach of the women's lacrosse team at Seton Hill University was one of two people killed in a bus accident Saturday morning.

Quigley was 6-months pregnant with her second son when she was killed, the unborn child did not survive. She leaves behind a husband and a young son.

The pregnant coach was taking her team to an away game in Millersville Pennsylvania when the bus veered off the road on the Pennsylvania turnpike; hit a guardrail and then a tree.

The Bus driver and Coach Quigley were taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where they died as a result of their injuries.

The police are investigating the accident. The bus was carrying 23 people including members of the women's lacrosse team and associates.

The official website for the Seton Hill Griffins says coach Quigley was on her second season with the team. "Last season she led the Griffins to 11 victories in her first season."

People went on Facebook to express their condolences to Seton Hill and Quigley's family.

Sharon Cruikshank Crump posted, "RIP Coach Kristina Quigley the entire lacrosse community will miss you. Prayers to Seton Hill players, coaches and staff, but most importantly for her husband and young son."

On the school's Facebook page Seaton Hill University writes, "Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved in [the] bus accident."

Ann Gillott Crosby posted, "Deepest sympathy to all families involved. Thoughts and prayers for all involved including our Seton Hill Community."

Seton Hill University is holding a memorial mass For Coach Quigley tonight at 7pm.
