Lindsay Lohan Misses Flight Back to Los Angeles, Ahead of Monday Court Appearance, Issued Bench Warrant For Her Arrest If No Show

Lindsay Lohan missed her New York flight back to Los Angeles on Saturday to stay and party.

This is just ahead of her Monday court appearance in Los Angeles, being charged with lying to police after being involved in a car crash in Malibu on the Pacific coast Highway last summer.

According to sources reported by TMZ, the starlet plans to catch another flight to L.A. Sunday, however has yet to make those arrangement.

If the "Liz & Dick" actress is a no-show she will be issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

TMZ quoted a source who said the actress instead of showing up for her flight at 9 p.m. Saturday instead went to a club called the Red Door in midtown Manhattan to see the band City of the Sun.

It's still unknown if the troubled actress had found anyone to replace her current lawyer, Mark Heller as he was questioned about his knowledge of California law since he practices in New York. He took the advice and found Fox News legal analyst David Wohl, who has reportedly agreed to take on the case, however she has yet to agree.

"We are awaiting Ms. Lohan's approval," partner Paul Wallin told the Los Angeles Times, adding that she is just one of their "high-profile clients."

A source said, ''The prosecutor will absolutely object to any motion that is filed attempting to prevent the trial from beginning. Heller has had more than enough time to prepare the case for trial, and if he tries to pull a stunt at the eleventh hour in hopes of causing a delay, he is going to be in for a very rude awakening.

''The California courts are overloaded right now, and any delay would only cost taxpayers money. Lindsay can expect to get no special treatment this time around, despite what she's been used to in the past.''

This won't be the first for Lohan to have trouble making court appearance or flights in 2010 she missed a court date claiming she lost her passport in Paris. Last April she missed her flight to the White House Correspondents' Dinner stating she "couldn't get herself together."
