Casey Anthony Bankruptcy: Fights Against Zenaida Gonzalez Request of New Finance Disclosure

Casey Anthony's lawyers are fighting against Zenaida Gonzalez to question about her finances at a Chapter 7 bankruptcy hearing.

Anthony's lawyers are claiming that Gonzalez and her lawyers already had an opportunity to question about her finances.

Gonzalez's legal team asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May for permission to examine Anthony's finances again.

Anthony, who has been in hiding since was not found guilty of murdering her daughter, had to make an appearance for the bankruptcy hearing in February, as she filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in January 25.

Anthony at the hearing testified that, through her lawyers, she received money and gifts from unidentified well-wishers.

Anthony said that she pays no rent or utilities and lives "for free," thanks to the kindness of unnamed "friends."

Gonzalez's legal team's motion argued creditors "have an interest in discovering the full extent of [Anthony's] income and prospects for future income."

Anthony's legal team field a response on Thursday that they already had the chance at the previous creditors' meeting. Stating Gonzalez's team had been "given ample opportunity and unlimited time to examine" Anthony, according to The Orlando Sentinel. And aruge the defamation claim is a "publicity stunt masquerading as a lawsuit."

Gonzalez is suing Anthony for defamation of character as Anthony claimed a similarly named nanny kidnapped her daughter, Caylee in 2008.

Anthony was convicted for lying to detectives, claiming she left Caylee with a nanny named "Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez."

Anthony was acquitted of all major charges in her daughter's death in 2011.
