Kate Middleton Gets Her Heel Stuck During St. Patrick's Day Parade, Laughs It Off [VIDEO]

Kate Middleton got her heel stuck in a drain grate during the St. Patrick's Day parade at the Aldershot Barracks on Sunday.

The Duchess of Cambridge, now several months along in her pregnancy, had to bend down to free her heel.

The scene caused some amusement for her husband Prince William, who laughed over the situation. During the parade he was dressed in a full ceremonial uniform, serving his duties as Colonel of the Regiment.

Kate also apparently found the situation funny as she was seen laughing alongside her husband as she attempted to free the heel from the drain.

During the entirety of the shoe struggle, another fully dressed soldier stood next to the pair saluting and waiting for the Duchess to release the heel from the drain. He also laughed along during the funny incident.

Kate did not have to struggle for very long before the was able to get her shoe loose and continue on with the parade.

For her official duties on Sunday at the St. Patrick's Day parade, she presented sprigs of shamrocks to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards.

In addition to the rogue heel, the Duchess wore a green Emilia Wickstead dress coat, decorated with the Queen Mother's gold shamrock brooch, and a black hat.

Aside from wardrobe malfunctions, Kate Middleton has been in the news a lot lately, particularly regarding her pregnancy and her growing baby bump.

During Sunday's event, however, it was difficult to see her baby bump through her thick, green coat. Although reportedly Kate discussed her pregnancy with members of the Irish Guard at the parade.

One guardsman, Lee Wheeler, told the Huffington Post, "I was talking to her about the baby, of course. I asked her, 'Do you know if it's a girl or boy?', and she said, 'Not yet.' She said, 'I'd like to have a boy and William would like a girl'. That's always the way."
