Emma Watson Rumors of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Casting Denied On Twitter, Also By Author E.L. James

Actress Emma Watson slams casting rumors for the role of Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of the book “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

However it seems the rumors was just wishful thinking. Watson expressed that she isn’t interested in doing the film despite reports of casting in the lead role on Sunday.

The 22-year-old actress before had addressed this issue back in summer 2012, as reports of her starring in the film began then.

"I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing," she said at that time. "There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. I never even saw a script!”

The rumors resurfaced after online hacker group claimed documents from German studio Constantin Film that reportedly featured Watson’s name attached to the film. Also book’s author E.L. James dismissed the rumors on her Twitter on March 15.
