Bill O'Reilly Divorce With Maureen McPhilmy Has Been Revisited [VIDEO]

Bill O'Reilly divorce with Maureen McPhilmy in 2001 wasn't the end for the pair's legal battle, as they are involved in a nasty custody battle.

O'Reilly was reported back then to wreak revenge to destroy the career of the Nassau County Police detective that his ex- was dating then. She has since married the detective, after the divorce. The former couple is in a heated custody battle over their two children.

The news political TV host attempted to undermine his custody arrangement by hiring social worker Lynne Kulakowksi, who both he and his former wife agreed on as a neutral arbiter of their disputes. It involves him even attempting to annual his marriage to have McPhilmy potentially be thrown out of the Catholic Church.

McPhilmy's attorney claimed that O'Reilly's attorney didn't deny that Kulakowski was collecting a six-figure from political commentator during a Second Department hearing in January.

Initially the lower court denied McPhilmy's request for a hearing about O'Reilly's co-optation of the licensed social worker, however the appellate court sided with her and sent the case back to court for a hearing.

Democratic Underground attempted to contact Fox News, O'Reilly's attorney and Kulakowski, but none were available for comment.
