In an effort to avoid the ex-wife of Tiger Woods, Lindsay Vonn, the new girlfriend of Woods reportedly waited in her car for an hour.
The Daily Mail reports that the same day Tiger Woods and Lindsay Vonn announced they were dating, Vonn waited in the car for an hour at the daughter of Woods and Elin Nordegren's baseball game to dodge her new boyfriend's ex.
The Olympic gold medalist reportedly avoided a face-to-face meeting with the former Swedish model, who may or may not have heard the news of the new couple.
Monday before the game, Lindsay Vonn took to her Facebook to confirm the news that the rumors were true.
"I guess it wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods," the Olympian said. "Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy. I don't plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends."
Woods took to his own website to reveal the official news of having a new girlfriend. "Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn," Woods said. "Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."
Dailymail reported that Nordegren and Woods didn't speak during the game.
A source told TMZ last week that Elin Nordegren was dating billionaire Chris Cline.
Tiger Woods and Nordegren divorced in August of 2010 after a 2009 single-vehicle incident that Tiger Woods crashed his car just outside the couples Florida home. The National Enquirer reported that Woods was having an affair, just days before the accident.
Women came out and admitted to having an affair with the married man, who have two children together.
