Alexis Bledel Engaged To Mad Men Star Vincent Kartheiser

The former "Gilmore Girl" Alexis Bledel is engaged to Vincent Kartheiser of AMC's "Mad Men." The couple has been together almost a year and friend tells Us Weekly, "They couldn't be happier."

Kartheiser's character on "Mad Men," Pete Cample had a steamy love affair with Bath Dawes played by Bledel. Fans of Bledel were surprised at her appearance in "Mad Men" after playing mosey Rory Gilmore on the CW show "Gilmore Girls."

Both characters Bledel and Kartheiser play on "Mad Men" were married. But that didn't stop their three episode love affair. However the lobotomy Bledel's character received may have done the trick.

"Mad Men" is getting ready for its sixth season on AMC. There is no word on when the couple plans to marry.

Alexis Bledel previously dated "Gilmore Girls" co-star Milo Ventimiglia. The pair was together from 2003 until 2006.

Not only will Bledel be walking down the aisle, she will also be staring in a new show on Fox. Bledel will appear alongside Jason Ritter in the US adaptation of the UK show "Gavin and Stacy."
