Dog Proposes To Bo Obama, The 'First Dog' Of The United States By Reaching Out Through YouTube [VIDEO]

A two-year-old Golden Doodle proposed to Bo Obama, the dog of President Barack Obama's family via YouTube Thursday.

In a video made by the Oregon Humane Society, Ramona asks the Portuguese Water Dog to be her date at the Doggie Dash, which is an annual event that raises money for animal shelters.

These are the perks of being the "First Dog" of the United States.

The letter in the YouTube video reads:

"Dear Bo Obama,

You are cordially invited to serve as Grand Dog Marshal of the Oregon Humane Society 2013 Doggie Dash. And Marry Ramona, if you like. We hope to see you May 11 at the Portland Watherfront!"

The fundraiser is on May 11, which allows Bo Obama some time to make up its mind.

Ramona couldn't figure out who to invite to the dance, until Bo Obama popped in its head. From there, Ramona tried to use Facebook, Twitter and the telephone before writing a letter to the pup in Washington, D.C.

She went as far as to ask Bo to marry her.

She resolves to invite Bo, her canine crush, and dreamily envisions herself as the wife of the Portuguese Water Dog.

A website for the fundraiser, which has started a petition to get the First Dog to attend, lists all the reasons why Ramona is a perfect match for Bo, Dailymail reported Thursday.

"Just like Bo, Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic," the pup said about itself on the list. "The first family would adore me! Ramona's infatuation also stems from her love of the First Dog's black and white coloring." '

"With my white fluffy fur, we'd make an awesome couple!" the list said. "Every year, the Doggie Dash attracts thousands of dogs and their owners to the Portland waterfront to eat drink and run for pets in need."

This year the 26th annual event aims to raise $450,000 for animal shelters, Dailymail reported.
