Steve Nash Attends Bar Mitzvah Of Los Angeles Billionaire’s Son, Though Not Jewish

NBA star Steve Nash attended the Los Angles Bar Mitzvah of Michael Feinberg. Michael is the 13-year-old son of billionaire Jeffery Fienberg, who runs one of the most successful hedge funds in the United States.

L.A Lakers Steve Nash was invited to the Bar Mitzvah through a series of connections Feinberg used in order to get his son's favorite NBA player to come to his birthday party.

Although not Jewish, Steve Nash was in attendance at the Feinberg Bar Mitzvah.

Jeffery Fienberg and his son are huge basketball fans. The billionaire tried his hand at buying the Brooklyn Nets in 2009 before being beaten out by rapper Jay-Z.

Fienberg's wife Stacy is the daughter of famous sports agent Bob Wolf. Wolf managed NBA legends Larry Bird and John Havlicek.

Steve Nash was born in South Africa and raised in Canada. Nash began his NBA career in 1996 and has played for the Phoenix Suns, the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers.

During his career Steve Nash has averaged 14.4 points and 8.5 assists per game. This year Nash is averaging 12.7 points and 6.8 assists.

Nash and the L.A. Lakers are pushing for a run at the NBA play offs. The team currently stands at 36-33 and is two games a head of the Utah Jazz for the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
