Bon Jovi $42M Home On The Market, Manhattan Penthouse With NYC Skyline View [PHOTOS]

Bon Jovi put his penthouse that he built for $42 million, almost twice as much the $24 million he paid for in 2007.

The 7,500-square-foot in SoHo area is now selling and looking to make a profit from the property, fully furnished with five bedrooms and 5.5 baths.

The duplex also features 11 foot ceilings and three terraces so the new owner will get a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline and receives a lot of natural light from its huge floor-to ceiling windows.

Real Estalker reports that there is a key lock elevator in the building that "opens directly into the five bedroom penthouse's upper level main foyer off of which are coat closets and an itty-pitty power room."

Corcoran, the listing agent describes the main foyer is a "massive Great Room, which has a wood-burning fireplace, a dining area and a modern chef's kitchen. This one-of-a-kind apartment is for the discerning buyer who can appreciate fine craftsmanship and all of the modern conveniences."

The apartment is located on the top floor of the New Museum's 158 Mercer Street building, between Prince and Houston Streets. The maintenance fees are listed at $6,870 and monthly taxes on the property are $4,738.
