Nickelodeon's 2013 Kids' Choice Awards Preview For The Saturday Show, Which Features Pitbull, Chirstina Aguilera and Kesha Are Set To Perform

Nickelodeon's Kid Choice Awards airs Saturday on Nickelodeon at 8 p.m. What is this unique award show all about?

Fans vote for the winners at the 25th installment of the award show, which include such categories as favorite movie, book, reality show and app.

The nominees for favorite athlete include Tim Tebow, LeBron James, Shaun  White and Michael Phelps.

"These are winners and nominees that you don't see on any other awards show," Margie Cohn, president of content development for Nickelodeon and executive producer of the live the broadcast told the Daily News.  

The Kids Choice Awards features stars from all genres. There's an award called the Big Help Award.

"Last year, First Lady Michelle Obama presented The Big Help Award to Taylor Swift for her amazing work with tornado and flood survivors in the United States. Big ups to Taylor for making a difference and always encouraging her fans to do the same," Kids' Choice Awards website read.

Will there be slime? It's a tradition that is synonymous with the Kids' Choice Awards. It's safe to assume there will be.

Artist whose recent music might not fit the criteria for the award show, but Nickelodeon announced that rapper Pitbull will be joined by Christina Aguilera, as they perform "Feel This Moment."

"The Voice" judge and "Show Me How You Burlesque" singer will be making her first performance at the Kids' Choice Awards.

Kesha will be performing her hit "C'mon," which will also be her first performance at the award show. Some of the lyrics in "C'mon" reference underage drinking and sex.
