Kristen Stewart Gets Messy At Kids Choice Awards; Spends Time With Robert Pattinson, Home From Filming In Australia

Kristen Stewart got covered in green slime at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Twilight's Kristen Stewart appeared alongside host Josh Duhamel and a number of other celebrities for the awards show whose winners are determined by kids' votes.

The prize for winning a Kids Choice Award is a bright orange trophy in the shape of a blimp, but what people really remember is who gets drenched with Nickelodeon's signature green slime.

After Pitbull performed with Christina Aguilera, Aguilera slimed Pitbull and their backup dancers. Sandra Bullock and Neil Patrick Harris were covered in green goop when the presented the award for favorite movie actress.

Kristen Stewart won the award for her role in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2." Although she didn't get slime dumped on her head, Bullock hugged Stewart, covering Stewart in slime.

Stewart also won the prize for 'female buttkicker' for her lead role in "Snow White and the Huntsman."

Interestingly, Stewart didn't appear on the Kids Choice Awards red carpet with boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

It could be because a new report surfaced exposing that Pattinson was happy to be away from Kristin for the 64 days he spent filming "The Rover" in Australia.

Director of "The Rover," David Michod, talked about his new film that has concluded its shooting in Australia to WHO magazine.

Michod explained that being in Australia was probably good for Pattinson and allowed him to get away from Hollywood.

"He's very smart. It's been one of the beau experiences [for him] ... to roam around and breathe fresh air, but the flies are driving him crazy," David Michod explained.

This confirms information a source earlier told Radar Online, that said, "The set really is in the middle of nowhere, a good drive from Adelaide, so it's been the ideal setting for him to forget all his troubles and bury himself in his work. It's been the peace and quiet he has needed since his relationship woes with Kristin and the perfect way to reevaluate things."

Despite the couple's previous troubles, Pattinson seems to have forgiven and forgotten Stewart's wanderings. The couple is back together in Los Angeles.

An insider told HollywoodLife.com, "Kristen is confident that her relationship with Rob is stronger than ever and has no problem whatsoever with Rob wanting to take things slow. They have been together pretty much non-stop since he's been back. He has just only arrived but the first person he wanted to see and spend dime with is Kristen, and of course [his dogs]."

It seems that the "Twilight" couple will be together for a while longer.
