'Spring Breakers' Gets Thumbs Up From Moviegoers... And James Franco's Grandma [VIDEO]

Spring Breakers was released this past weekend and has garnered a lot of box office success so far. But for those of you who have not yet seen the teen crime comedy-drama yet, James Franco's grandmother has some words for you.

In a video posted to the Spring Breakers movie Facebook page, the actor's dear old grandma appears to convince everyone to go out and see her grandson in action.

Footage from the hit film is voiced over by the elder Franco who insists, "See Spring Breakers. Lots of parties, lots of drinking, lots of girls... and my grandson!"

The movie itself has gotten a lot of attention in the media even before it was released. The film features grown-up Disney stars Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, as well as Ashley Benson from ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars alongside a sketchy James Franco.

The New York Times referred to it as "a druggy, violent, hypersexualized tale." Rolling Stone said it was "the most debauched movie of the year." Emma Seligman of the Huffington Post wrote that the film was like "Scarface meets Britney Spears." Whereas Roger Ebert merely said Spring Breakers was "unforgettable."

With reviews like that, how could you not listen to James Franco's sweet old granny's advice?

Spring Breakers follows the story of four life-long girl friends down and out who want to have a good time on spring break. There is sex, crime, drugs, and excessive partying - just like spring break in real life.

It was released in theaters on March 22. The Spring Breakers official trailer can be watched below.
