Gucci Mane Arrested, Jailed, Denied Bond After Turning Himself In To Police: Rapper Accused Of Breaking A Bottle Over A Fan's Head

Gucci Mane was denied bond Wednesday in court following his arrest on Tuesday in Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that the rapper turned himself in Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a weapon. Gucci Mane's real name, Radric Davis, was booked into the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta.

Channel 2 Action News of Atlanta reported last week that Atlanta police had issued a warrant for the rapper following the March 16 incident at the Harlem Nights club on Courtland Street. The alleged victim told Channel 2 that Davis hit him in the head with a champagne bottle after he asked to take a photo with the rapper.

Another man, who went by the initials TJ, claimed Mane punched him in the face two days later, according to XXL.

"I haven't ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected," TJ told WBSTV in Atlanta. TJ stated Gucci Mane punched him in the jaw at Club Onyx in Philadelphia on March 18. "He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses."

The incident on March 16 alleged that a soldier was talking to a security guard when Gucci Mane clubbed him from behind with a bottle. The man, named James, was treated at Grady Memorial Hospital and received 10 stitches.

Gucci Mane will have to wait until his next court date to be released from jail, which is April 10.

Fulton County sheriff's spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said Davis turned himself in at the jail about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, and will face a magistrate.
