Hwang Jung Eum "My days as part of Sugar were like hell..."

Hwang Jung Eum revealed that her days as part of Sugar were like hell and caught the attention of fans. 

On KBS 'Star's Life Theater' that aired on the 10th, Hwang Jung Eum revealed her simple life and her days as part of Sugar. 

In 2001, at the age of 18, Hwang Jung Eum joined the female idol group Sugar. Hwang Jung Eum revealed "We all had to live together, and so I couldn't even see my mom and dad. After school, we would practice singing, dancing, run around the track 100 times, and climb mountains. It was hell."

"I didn't understand anything. At first, I was the main and soon it became 'Ayumi and Children'. I was Hwang Jung Eum, but I was so restricted to the point that I didn't know what to do at all. With the hardships I endured during Sugar, I don't think I would be here today. Someone who has been out in the cold so long knows and appreciates the warmth of the sun. I feel like that. I've experienced so much when I was young that I know and feel more these days."
