MLB Pitcher Ryu Hyun Jin Transformed Into Psy In The Dodgers' Locker Room

Ryu Hyun Jin, the 26-year-old Korean pitcher for the LA Dodgers, has just made his Major League Baseball debut, and just two days after his first American victory, a video was released of him in the locker room dancing to "Gangnam Style" with two teammates.

The left-handed starter is shown in the 45-second clip with fellow pitcher Clayton Kershaw and ace hitter Matt Kemp doing Psy's infamous invisible horse dance in the Dodgers locker room. The two Americans were no strangers to the hit song and dance as they knew the choreography extremely well while dancing along with their Korean teammate.

Ryu donned a pair of dark sunglasses and was smiling throughout the entire performance. It is unknown when the video was taken, but it has been speculated that the dance number was an innocent hazing session instigated by older teammates to initiate the powerful rookie. It likely occurred during Dodgers Idol, a team spring training event.

Ryu is the first ever Korean player to make it to the American major leagues through the posting system, a transfer system that operates between the MLB and Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.

He initially debuted on Daejeon's Hanhwa Eagles in 2006 and was picked up by the LA Dodgers for a six-year $36 million contract in December of last year.
