Gucci Man Hit With One Count Of Aggravated Assault After Allegedly Striking A Soldier Over The Head With A Bottle

An Atlanta judge hit Gucci Mane, whose real name is Radric Davis, with one count of aggravated assault Tuesday for allegedly striking a soldier in the head with a bottle in March.

The rapper has been confined in an Atlanta since he turned himself in on March 26 because he was denied bond. The alleged incident took place on March 16.

He was ordered by a judge to be placed under house arrest on Wednesday. He can only go out for work-related travel, including concerts, studio time, or appearances related to his career and contractual obligations, according to the Epoch Times.

"I'm in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK?" the soldier recalled what he asked of from Gucci Mane's guard. He said Mane then decided to hit him over the head with a bottle. The alleged victim said he received 10 stitches at a local hospital following the assault.

After his arrest in March for the alleged Harlem Nights assault, Gucci was accused in a similar case in Philadelphia, where a man said the MC punched him in the jaw at a Philadelphia bar two nights after the soldier was allegedly struck.

"I haven't ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected," said the victim, who claimed that the Gucci Mane punched him in the jaw in the early hours of March 18 in Philadelphia. "He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses," the victim told the judge.
