Gwyneth Paltrow Talks Health & Beauty In Harper’s Bazaar Interview, Says “I Won’t Do Botox Again…I Looked Crazy!”

Gwyneth Paltrow appears on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's May issue and, in an interview for the magazine and on Dr. Oz, responded to rumors of her strict parenting style and the diet she mandates on her household.

The rumors started when Gwyneth Paltrow released her cookbook "It's All Good," which explains how the actress stays away from processed grains when feeding her children and avoids gluten. The diet guidelines raised concern over whether Paltrow was being too strict with the diets of her children, 6-year-old Moses and 8-year-old Apple.

In an interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz, Paltrow explained that the restrictions were because of her son's allergies. She told Dr. Oz, "What it is, is that my son has very bad eczema and he's allergic to gluten and she's allergic to cow dairy. I try at home to make everything gluten-free for him because the difference in his comfort is unbelievable when he's sticking to what he's meant to be eating."

Paltrow laughed off concerns that she's becoming an extreme health nut.

"They say I don't give my kids carbs, and I'm feeding them seaweed... I have no idea. But they eat Oreos, too, and they're normal kids."

Gwyneth Paltrow, in the May Harper's Bazaar issue, said that she is not completely organic, despite how it appears. She clarified that she's not opposed to using cutting-edged techniques and technology to maintain her appearance. "I use organic [beauty] products, but I get lasers. It's what makes life interesting, finding the balance between cigarettes and tofu." She said of her beauty routines, "I've probably tried everything."

But she does draw the line at surgery.

"I would be scared to go under the knife, but you know, talk to me when I'm 50. I'll try anything. Except I won't do Botox again, because I looked crazy."

Paltrow currently lives in London with husband and Coldplay front man Chris Martin. After recently turning 40, she is considering the next steps to take in her life. "I'm at quite a pivotal point: Do I want to go back more into films? Do I want another child? Do I want to move back to the States? You can call me a lot of things, but you can't call me complacent!"
