Katie Holmes News: Tom Cruise Not Giving In To ‘All We Had’ Actress’ Money Demands?
Katie Holmes won't apparently be getting her way with ex-husband Tom Cruise. There were news that surfaced that the "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" actor was doing all he can to fight the "All We Had" actresses' purported child support demands.
In a report on Belfast Telegraph, it was mentioned that the "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" actor will contest Holmes' arguments on the matter.
"Tom has let it be known that he contests Katie's financial demands, and is determined to challenge her," an insider told Grazia magazine as quoted by the source above. "He tends to do whatever it takes to get his way."
Another source of the magazine claimed the "All We Had" actress has been prepared with Cruise's plans to challenge her case with the help of her father.
The Katie Holmes news that revealed she wanted a hike on Tom Cruise's child support for daughter Suri surfaced only last month. According to Hollywood Life, the actress was struggling with the growing needs of Suri as she's getting older.
"While Katie's taking every acting job that comes her way, she doesn't have the ability to keep her and Suri living the lifestyle that Tom's fortune allowed," the Life & Style insider revealed as cited by the entertainment website.
"There's also the fact that Suri is getting older and needs more money to travel back and forth across the country with Katie, as well as for her dance, skating and music lessons, new clothes, arts and crafts, and tutors," the insider added.
As reported by TMZ back in 2012 when the "All We Had" actress and "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" actor finalized their divorce settlement, Holmes was left with nothing from Cruise but was getting an annual $400,000 child support. The amount was supposed to cover Suri's school, medical and other needs.
Three years later though, Katie Holmes apparently felt the amount needed a raise as it was not enough to cover Suri's expenses. Both Tom Cruise and the "All We Had" actress have yet address the said news and rumor about a higher child support amount.
