FKA Twigs Talks About Kids In Paper Magazine Feature; Admits She Is Old Fashioned

FKA Twigs talked to Paper magazine about having kids and admitted that she is old fashioned.

The electro-pop "Two Weeks" singer was asked about who inspires her to work hard on her musical career. FKA Twigs told Paper magazine that she has always been motivated because of her dream to have children.

"Not the children of the world; I mean the children that I haven't had yet," the 27-year-old said while patting her stomach.

"I'm quite traditional. You know that saying, "You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl"? I grew up in Gloucestershire, and there's a certain format that people fit into."

"I'm actually quite happy with that format. I'm quite happy to say, "Go to school, work hard on your GCSEs, do your A-Levels, get married, have children. Send your kids to a nice school. Make sure you're in the right catchment area," she listed.

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter explained that she has always been old-fashioned.

"I just like working hard and learning things," she said.

"I do this because I want my children to have a nice life, and I want my children's children to have a nice life. And I want my grandkids to be proud of what I've achieved."

Prior to FKA Twigs' Paper magazine feature, the eccentric singer has been in the news for her controversial relationship with movie star Robert Pattinson. The two are engaged to be married after dating for just six months.

However, the celebrity couple has also been hounded by rumors that they are experiencing relationship problems, which were fuelled after they postponed their upcoming wedding.

Hollywood Life clarified that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs' mutual decision to move the wedding date does not have anything to do with them fighting.

"Don't take the news as a bad thing - they just want to get it right because they only want to do it once," an insider explained.

"FKA wants it to be perfect and she keeps going back and forth on ideas. She definitely wants it to be amazing, so she keeps thinking of things to add to the festivities!"
